Hi, all
i had a friend call on me this evening he asked me
about my welder so we got talking and he asked me
when did i change it to euro torch.
i replied i havent he said it used to have the other type
so on closer inspection you can see where wires have been
cut so i think it has been wired wrong.
so has anybody on the forum have the same welder
i know i am asking a lot would you mined taken the
side panle off and take a couple of photos so i can rewire
mine please.
or a good wire diagram
thing are desparate as my daughter whants her car on
the road
plus i can get my car back

here is the diagram note that the wiring from the trigger joins to the thermostat, the thermostat will be built into or on the transformer or the choke (which also looks like a transformer) check that the thermostat will pass current ie continuity test with a meter as it should only operate if the welder overheats .Also have you ever welded with this machine if you have then you can assume that the wiring is correct otherwise it would not have worked.

Hi,now i have not used this welder yet and the way things are i am dout full as to wether
i will.
THANKS for the diagram it looks a bit complecated for me i hope i can make
something of it.
thats why i hoped someone had the same welder where they could have taken a
photo for more detail it would have made things a little easer for me.
i have seen a photo on here somewere but i cannot find it now i am desperate.

looking at the picture below that you posted if you connect everything up ie mains, relay and 4 pin plug power it up and then short out pins number 4 and 2 the relay should operate.
failing that turn the pcb over there will be 4 connections to the transformer 2 mains in and 2 low voltage out connect the mains to the pcb and power up then measure the voltage across the 2 low voltage solder joints using an ac measurement it should be 12 to 24 volts approx if you get such a reading then the transformer is good it then onto the small round bridge rectifier on the board it should have on it two ~ oposite each other and a + & - with the power on measure the voltage across the + & - solder joints using DC measurement that sould also produce 12 to 24 volts.
if the transformer shows a voltage but the rectifier does not show 12 to 24 DC then the rectifier has gone.
make sure that you stay safe and do not mix up what you are testing or what setting the meter should be on and that you cant come into contact with 240 volts
