sip 115 arc welder?

Just been given this as a freebie bloody tatty but seems to work anyone got the instructions for this welder or know where i can download them? and nope it aint going no where near my car bodywork

What do you need instructions for?

Turn the knob until the indicator on top has the desired amps. try it and adjust as necessary.

Just curious m8ty and as ive never used a arc welder before a bit of info before hand comes in handy

Just get some good rods and have at it.

Get same name-brand rods. The cheap no-name rods are crap, especially the thinner ones.

I have been doing Arc welding for almost 2 years (a bit here and there.) Finally reached a decent level. I grabbed some of the no-name rods for a quick job. Noticed they were not the good ones, but decided, heck, I should be good enough now with these. Still had slag inclusions and lack of fusion. STick with good rods.

There are some good reference docs on the Miller and Lincoln Electric sites.
