sip 05170 ideal 301 mig

recently bought the sip 301 250 amp mig and found it a cracking little welder but when i release the trigger after a weld the gas carries on for at least another second or so, i have jst started out as a mobile ag engineer so every penny counts and this seems a costly feature. any help would be great

Sounds like a post-flow feature, is there a switch to disable it?

cant find one and never got instruction book when i bought it.

is it this one if so you could ask them if they have a handbook as they are SIP dealers and spares stockists
