Hi all,
I only have access to a single phase supply and was considering purchasing a plasma cutter. I already have a shop air supply so don't need a machine with a built in supply.
I was wondering what was the most you can expect to cut reliably with a single phase machine with a dedicated electrical supply i.e. >13 amp plug. I was looking for something to cut 10mm to 12mm hardened steel plate to make targets for a shooting range.
I was thinking the more powerful a machine I can get the greater it's duty cycle.
I be honest I'm no expert on plasma machines so any suggestions are most welcome.
Looking to spend maybe up to £800-£900ish.
