I'm wanting to put a decent sized trap in the ground to catch silt and such, I've got a normal rodable gully in now and I'm forever cleaning it out.
I wash the stockcar off after shale meetings and its unavoidable that quite abit of shale ends up in the grid that blocks easily.
My plan is to build a chamber underground out of engineering brick and waterproof cement with a large sump (600mm?) To the outlet to drain,
I can then scoop this out with big ladle type thingy periodically.
I could even build like a baffle wall so the main solids stay in the first settlement bit and the next one would be cleaner?
That's my plan, has anyone any ideas or input?
