Evening folks, anyone heard of this, and is it any good?
Need it for car underbody mate. Not heard of it but it seems like a good quality commercial epoxy paint. What do you want to use it for? It appears to be a basic epoxy primer with no additional anti corrosion agents such as zinc or aluminium. They do make such products but obviously cost more. Jotun are probably the best vfm out there.
I would go with jotun 87 or 90 with aluminium in it.. @Dcal has used it for this and can give advice on spraying etc.Need it for car underbody mate.
I haven't tried Sigmacover but it looks to be good gear and I wouldn't have any concerns using it.
Looking at the TDS, PPG state it can be applied with a standard gravity gun which is a big plus over the Jotamastic.
I have had good results spraying Jotamastic 90 but it's not recommended by Jotun so if it's easier to get the Sigmacover I'd go with it.
If you do go with it please do report back on how you get on.
I suspect that is because it has no metal; powder in it? Would be much easier to spray.I haven't tried Sigmacover but it looks to be good gear and I wouldn't have any concerns using it.

Any links to the sort you're thinking of getting.I suspect that is because it has no metal; powder in it? Would be much easier to spray.
I am going to invest in one of those electric airless sprayers soon. Around £300 for a Chinese model v £3000 for a Graco. They paint at 3000psi. Basically a pressure washer for paint. You need at least a 2000w model for heavy epoxies. Flow rate important so I will go for a 3000w model. I have a whole house to paint and loads of fences so will make quick work of that as well.
