Hiya,
Coming from a woodworking background, I have a question as someone not as well versed in the intricacies of steel. I'll be making a wooden side gate (basically a door) that will be hanging from a steel post. The post will be concreted into the ground, and then at the height of the top of the door - will turn to go over the door and be attached to a wall on the other side of the door (other side from the post side).
Could I ask what box steel size you might suggest for this to be stiff and non shaky - without the need of adding any fillet pieces? I had been thinking of 50x50mm box steel with 3mm thickness.
Thank you
