So I made this today.

The switchable magnetic stands are wonderful, if you like that sort of thing.
Jigging them up is very satisfying at first, no even after making four of them, but hell it is a fiddle.
A great chance to indulge the obsessive side of ,yself.
People see the end result and say 'that is nice so simple' then scream, at the price.
They are simple things, they are also a swine to make. So often the case with simplicity.

In my old place it was easy, it lived on the stereo fridge.
Now I have 16m+ to leave it lying around in. I figure somewhere central and it will become a habit.

the cubes within a cube thing, was made by a very special friend as a workshop warming gift.
He is a proper grumpy sod, I was stunned when it turned up.

I need a stereo fridge, do you get double beer ? I like the phone holder as well.

The stereo lives in an old fridge, keeps the dust out.
I had not registered the term 'stereo fridge' could be misleading.
I do have cool sounds though
