Awesome skills, Id love to learn. The experience really shows through, where to hit it and where not to hit it! Id love to make a nice alloy petrol tank one day.

Speaking of shrinking i came across this vid of hisIt does at least explain why this shrinking technique never seems to work for me, I'm just not going for long enough.
As Wray says.......there is no immediate gratification in this hobby so you have to put the time in. He does repeat himself alot but it is all very relevant to understanding what he is doing. He may be good but I’ll never know - seven minutes of him waffling on and he still hadn’t started. Sadly a lot of youtubers seem to like the sound of their own voices, especially US ones.
Me and my mate were looking at going over there last year....then the lockdown hit. The price for a 130 hour 13 day course was very reasonable at $1500 usd ...so that would of been $1500 usd plus air fare, plus BnB, plus a few days either side like 3 weeks or so ...just waiting now really for everything to open up again, sadly I can’t see this being anytime this year or way into the next.
I’ve been looking at other courses with the likes of MPH or Quiet Bear, Andy Kissack and English Wheeling courses
I have already done all of the Ron Covell courses (6 in total all here in the UK when he visited a few years back) and 2 with Gene Winfield (one of these was a roof chopping course and had hands on work) and even the Gardner introduction day .....what must be remembered most of these have no or very little hands on and are more seminar than course. I have done a couple of other fabrication courses and car body related courses when these were offered by local colleges but most of these were 20 plus years ago.
Thats unless anyone knows of any others this side of the pond?
