Pete. Member Messages 14,868 Location Kent, UK Feb 7, 2021 #8 Is that one of the type that uses a wax cartridge? If the hot and cold water pressure are vastly different the catridges don't like it. I've had to change mine several times over the years until I got the cold water supply to the shower reduced.
