Shower screen

One for the bathroom fitters ,re the shower screen for a wet room, most state there is a 20 mm ish out of square allowance , does this mean the actual size of the screen would be smaller than the stated size ie a 1200 x 2000mm screen would be 1180 or so wide ? Need to know this as fitting a 1200 screen on to a 1200 tray that had a approx 15 mm tile overlap , don't want the screen to overhang the tray by the thickness of the tiling ,

Usually the c Chanel on the wall allows for adjustment for out of true walls. No dimensions from the supplier?

None seem to be in the bumf, merely the out of plumb adjustment , to it seems that the glass has to be a bit smaller than the size given in the ads

Victoria plum, 1200 screen state 1175 to 1197 , assuming 1175 is the glass size ,

Yup. Gives you clearance for your tiles.

VP usually have dimension drawings available

1200 is usually the maximum cover, actually about 1190 or so plus tiles

So nominal 1200 screen will be ok on my 1200 tray minus tile /adhesive thickness , it would annoy the crap out of me if there were a small overhang , cheers chaps
