Should roller be spinning when trigger is pulled?

Hello! Should this roller be spinning when welding Guna trigger is pulled?

Gas is not connected, ir was trying to use it with flux core. When I preses the trigger I hear something working, būt wire is not feeding and roller does move at all

If that's the position the feed mechanism is in when you're trying to weld... it isn't closed up!

The top one is the drive roller on the motor spindle and should spin when you press the trigger.
The bottom roller free-wheels but needs lifting and adjusting to clamp the wire - but not too tight.

Does the top one spin? Should hear noises, maybe a click then motor spinning...

Have you turned the wire feed speed up????.....

Does your welder have a wire only feed install switch/button....

Or gas flow setting switch.

It would also help if you stated which welder your trying to set up......
