Should I sell it?

I have a lovely myford lathe (a ml10 I believe) but it hasn't had the use it deserves and is taking up space I could use for other more useful tools (useful for me that is) if I was to sell it where would be the best place? Ebay? Gumtree or on here? I'm hoping for about 800 quid or there abouts.... But do I sell it or keep it? Argh I hate making decisions

essex isnt a good place to sell stuff as keep prices low in certain areas

so if using ebay or gumtree dont expect too much on a price so fit a reserve on it

My reasoning is if I'm not using something and I can sell it for the going rate then it'll get sold. If it turns out I needed it then I can buy another one.

I thought I’d never sell my lathe. One day I realised that the space it occupied was worth more to me and so I sold it. Haven’t regretted it yet but it’s only been a few months.

Ml10 is tiny anyway. Isn't gonna free up much space and will be cursing when you need it

I have a 10 and I absolutely love it. Only time I’d consider selling is if I wanted to get something better.
On the plus side if you are selling they tend to make really good brass. Cracking little lathes but they get people throwing way more than they are worth at them on auction.
I’d say £800 is very achievable if you’ve got afew nice extra bits.
I’d stick it on an eBay auction and let them go to war on it.
I Can’t guarantee you’ll get your price but set the auction up to end on a Sunday evening and you’ll get what it’s worth probably a chunk more.

I know its hassle but offer to pallet it for courier collection. Personally I rarely use our lathe but I would keep it as the few times I do use it I couldn't have done with out it
