Should I earth this?

I am fitting a new worktop and she's picked a plastic/composite? Sink.
The stainless that I have taken out was earthed , should I try to attach the earth to a tap or is it redundant now?
Might be a dumb question but better safe...

not a main water bond earthwire is it near to cold water feed stop tap on pipe ? and where does it go to

Its on the cold riser behind the sink unit,it comes up and was bolted to the stainless sink

your cold and hot copper pipes are bonded. so just loose the bond that went to the sink top
