All I want is a little something to heat metal up for bending and a bit of cutting etc.
Will probably use propane instead of acetalyne.

yes none resettable u have to replace if u get oneWhat is a re-settable flashback arrester? Does this mean that if it ever has a flash you can re set it and re use it?

mine are resettable and ive had 2 flashbacks in 40 years. that would have been 2 two many handnt i had them fittedMaybe this is tempting something, but I've yet to have a flashback.
I don't think that for normal use it's necessary to have the resettable ones as it'll probably never happen. And if it does, I should think you'll spend the next couple of weeks recovering from it after wetting yourself so badly that the cost of buying another, rather than resetting, will hardly cross your mind!
