Short leg fat guy overalls ?

In the past I've had somebody who used to shorten the legs and arms of overalls for me but they are no longer available.
Anyone know a cheapish (DIY use only) source of overalls suitable for those of us (- well me ) who are large in the gut but not otherwise build like a gorilla and therefore don't need legs or arms that are way too long ?

I just cut the bottom of the legs off
by the time they start to fray, the rest of the overalls is fit for rags.

Fitters in a factory where I used to work were all measured for new boiler suit overalls and when they came one of the fitters (name was Jim) tried his on in the shop. When the shoulders were in place the gusset was between his knees and the legs looked like concertinas. One of the others stood on a bench and lifted the overalls till the gusset was in place and Jim's head was looking out about where his belly button would be. You could have stood a short bloke on his shoulders and both would have fitted in nicely. We were unsure who had measured him but it was funny at the time. Another case was my mate's dad who had his overalls specially made with something like a 70 inch chest. He used to wear them over all his other clothes including his donkey jacket. Get some that fit your body then shorten the legs and sleeves to suit, I do a lot of my own alterations nowadays.

IDK about overalls, but the shirts sold at most outlets (work and casual) have tended to be made for noodles arms (@KimB s phrase). I'm no way above averarage in the arm dia department, but nothing fits - bloody malaysian manufacturing and women buyers I guess. Lord knows what the average rugby player does for shirts these days.

deff need to be able to move about in them i like them a lot bigger than i am i dont care what i look like as long as i can move about in them ok nothing worse that tight overalls i wear a leather apron saves the overalls esp when grinding doesnt take long burn a hole in them no matter what quality overalls you buy
