Great stuff,truly bonkers.
But there is serious competition, they have a world championship and everything.
Somewhere on Utube there is a film of the competition explaining the rule and points system. God bless america, land of the weird.

Had to be from the good ol' US of A. They love to invent sports that no one in their right mind would do and then hold World Championships. The best one I saw years ago (on World of Sport or Grandstand, which dates it) was a guy standing on the rear bumper of a car going round an oval track wearing a large leather pad on his backside. At a pre-determined point or speed he would drop down onto the track on his a*?&e and see how far he could slide. Brilliant entertainment ... and yes, they held a World Championship in it. Gawd luv 'em.
