Shock horror BMW van

when I was a kid ,I always called the Thames 400 vans “ band van” maybe an adult had mentioned bands used to go to gigs in them,not that I’d have realised.

There was someone around here that put a Vauxhall Cresta engine in one of those, I understood it went very light on the steering under full throttle …..
