I'm in the process of restoring a Rover P4 and have an aluminium bolt on panel which needs a small repair.
The panel is generally in okay condition apart from this:
The other end gives me a clue as to what it should be like:
If it was made of steel it would have been fixed long ago, but I'm no aly expert! I've read about HTS2000 http://www.aluminiumrepair.co.uk and wondered if this was a reasonable solution to braze a repair section in place. The panel is about 1.4mm thick.
Thanks!
