Shed Venting!

Cause and effect was not obvious to me straight away...most here may have put 2+2 together instantly..

Beginning of last week I could barely breath all of a sudden. I was quite scared never had restricted breathing and it was pretty severe.

Couple of calls to the docs and one with a respiratory special with a fair bit of Q&A - in the days prior what have you been doing, think carefully - errr some grinding, welding and painting in my hermetically sealed garage with a rubbish paper mask , could almost hear the You've almost certainly had a reaction, I'm now on a heavy & short course of steroids which kicked in straight after the first dose!

Moral for me, keep the doors open and stick a hat if it's chilly - nit wit

It was winter so I had a pot belly paraffin heater next to me in the garage whilst I filed and sanded some leadwork on a motorbike petrol tank. My glasses were covered in dust so I didn't notice the lead shavings landing on the top of the heater. Suddenly I felt VERY ill and only just managed to get out of the garage - turned out the lead shavings had produce fumes !

Cheers Parm, I'm ok now, even had a little run today when I made sure no one was looking
I was flap disking paint from some warehouse racking I had reduced, then mig welded brackets to the ends then painted with some enamel I got from the bay with zero labeling.. and of course white spirit all over the gaff.
A decent idiots recipe with no ventilation.

I'm going to have a sort out and put my old bench into the 8x8 shed in the garden, I can open up nearly a whole side of it so will be doing all me dirties in there in future

Edit: - I also bandsawd the racking which kicked up a bit, and I lied a bit about the rubbish paper mask - I had it on sometimes

Mate, mower rolling pin roller material is still here!, Working loads nicer on the Marquis over the Certes steel roller. Let's sort a meetup.
Wood burning stock is down, got a couple of bags for you, will get the boy to get some more.

I thought I recognised those bikes.
It’s all your fault I’m on here reading about stuff way above my skill set.
Seem to remember you having grief fitting the steel roller.
Haven’t had time to look at the bambi, need a new drain and a couple of fittings and try and find if the relay I found rattling around has fallen off anywhere.

You need to post up a Slowcoach Bambi project, sure there will be loads of good advice, read a fair few Bambi projects especially from @Seadog of late
