Service interval enquiry, Ford 12v 2.9i Granada Mk3 and Sierra.

Can someone quote the oil change and filter change interval recommendations from Ford please? I will have it at the workshop but would appreciate knowing before I go back in. Strangely I can't find the info in a search.

According to Autodoc, 15,000 km/12 months

That one doesn't cover the 2.9. It's the Cologne V6 he's after info on. Where did you find that @gaz1 ? I suspect the Scorpio one is there too.

The V6 Sierra is in a different Haynes manual. The Scorpio never had one, but the Mk3 Granada did. Engine spec is BRG.

on all the older ford stuff, 6,000 miles is a good rule of thumb.

On an older engine I'd be doing an oil change somewhere between 5 and 8k miles regardless of what the original manual said.

Having owned one I can say this is spot on.

I wouldn't run any engine past 6000 miles on any oil anyway.
Better safe than sorry, and oil is the cheapest component in there.
