Hi all
I have finally got round to giving my 1967 series 2a landy the rebuild it deserves, I have had it 11yrs now and it has not let me down once. It was the first car i bought when i passed my test and earned me loads of nick names at school when i drove it there and back during sixth form.
A couple of years ago my father in law used it as his work vehicle and gave it a quick spray so it looks good on the out side its the inside where you start to find the wear and tear you would expect from a 43yr old car.
So far i have found that it needs the following replacing:
Both Dumb-irons
Both foot wells
Mud guards
all the bump stops
engine mounts.
As it was
Front dumb-irons - The bumper virtually fell off.
O/S front chassis rail and bulk head
N/S front chassis rail and bulk head
