Selling Coins

Random question, but there (nearly) always seems to be somebody who knows an answer.

I have some gold sovereigns, and modern (post 2000) Royal Mint coins I'd like to sell.
I know I could risk the whole eBay thing, but for easiness I'm thinking about seeing what the various dealers would give me for them.
Does anybody have any experience?

My other half went to the gold quarter in Birmingham a few years back to weigh in some scrap gold and the price was much better than London. She justified the trip with a visit to Cadbury World with the kids!

Keep them - Gold is keeping up with inflation at the moment - they are better than cash.

Do some research on the sovereigns maybe...some have collectable value and are therefore worth more than simply the gold content.

It takes time though...also the RM stuff is worth checking for error coins which can fetch a premium.

A picture might help...coin collecting is one of my many hobbies...it's more if a side hobby though.
