Hi, just to say hi.

Farming / self employed tractor driving muppet with workshop to make and build farm implements / gates etc in the off season.

just got 400 amp mig as upgrade and looking to improve my welding to professional standards. Buy most of my steel as re-usable out of local scrappy.

Thanks, next project is adapter plate for front of Moffett 7840 (one from your side of the water) so it will take all the jcb loadall implements.

Then a set of bale spikes which fold up to make it safer to travel on road.

interesting project and some heavy welding and it is always handy to have duel machine in the yard I was reading an article about an old Roadless 115
last night which had been converted to rear drive and had a JCB loader arm valve chest and pump fitted lovely looking machine now that it's fully restored and working again .mightn't be as comfortable as the Moffett
post a few picks when you get going

Hi Neil, Id say I'm semi farmer, semi engineer, semi welder/fabricator, which probably means i do all 3 badly...

Be worth getting the plate tested, to make it legal, Its something I have been involved with for the local Ag dealer....
