I'm looking to learn a welding as I believe it will strongly improve my ability to find stable employment. I plan to move back in with my folks so that I can focus on my education and get the skills and certificates needed to get secure aforementioned employment. However, most courses I've heard of are either tremendously expensive or last for a year.
If one takes a cheap year long course of 240 hours (for example) where they classes are given twice a week, is it possible to cram in more hours into the week at the school so one could speed up the course?
Are there any decent courses in South Wales that aren't ludicrously expensive that are for 6 months or less?
The reason I don't want to take a year over it is that my parents intend to sell the house and thus I won't be able to stay there any longer. I figure as most courses start in the fall, I'd have 6 months from then to get my education.
