Names of any second hand machinery dealers, auction houses etc?

Last local one I went to was w h peacock at St neots cambs. Few and far between and hit and miss.

Got my Oxford from Ron dean at a good price has a good reputation for his gear

Assume you mean bede tools, yes i agree, but think he does it as he is just a small buisness, possibly derigistered for vat. Or its father who buys and sells machines. Sons buisness. Well worth a call, his prices are usually reasonable.

If they had the decency to store the machinery under cover they would be good.

I pass their yard at Hillington almost every day during my work (train driver) and have been amazed at seeing large lathes, milling machines, bandsaws etc left out in the open at the mercy of the weather. Given the weather we had today (storm Abigail) there will be a fair few machines full of water!

If you are just hobby you probably won't be able to get a free magazine but would probably be able to read the online version.

Anyway has loads of secondhand machinery in it and auctions coming up both new and old kit.

typical of large companies that don't own what they are trying to sell, as bad as a scrappy I know , got a load of vintage car and truck parts in , instead of sorting through it he baled the lot ! seddon akky front panels , complete triumph mayflower , new old stock parts for each !
