I picked up a pair of welding screens from a firm in Castleford called Tools_4_you. They were advertised on ebay and were good value. A bit of a journey from Stoke but apart from the M62 road works and the M1 road works (I travelled back to Stoke that way, although a little longer, at least the 50mph zones were moving unlike the M62 variety! ) The young man called Ben was a pleasure to meet and very helpful. Anyway he sells used welders and amongst his stock is a Lorch C3003. he has it on ebay at the moment along with his others but the price he said is negotiable as he sets the prices a bit on the high side as he usually has to let them go a bit lower. He reckons that Lorch has a memory selection whereby if you run a weld and need to repeat it it remembers all the details of the selections you had used so that the exact weld can be repeated.
