searching for an e-book

Hi,

I know some of you like you e-books. I manage to find most of the ones I want, but one that is eluding me is; Concrete counter tops made simple by Fu-Tung Cheng

Im thinking of making a concrete slab and apparently thats the best book for information.

Do any of you happen to have a copy?

Or have any of you tried fancy things with coloured concrete?

I thought this was going to be a spoof like 'Around The World On Horseback' by Major Bumsore but I guess the author really is Fu Tung Chen!

Ok, so has anyone tried custom concrete tops or floor before? Or tried epoxy resin ones?

Theres a few sites showing it being done but i cant see much on how well it lasts.

I poured a concrete table top about 10 years ago - only about 18in square.
i remember it was b****y hard work polishing it.
The smoother the initial mold, the better - use contiboard rather than ply unless you want the grain effect.
Or put three or four coats of varnish/gloss on, sanding smooth between coats.
remember to a add a bit of draft (about 5deg) to any internal edges, otherwise you will damage edges removing core pieces.
