After reading this helpful thread i thought i'd give a few tips on doing this job.
I have recently done this job to my project and found a good neat way to apply it.
When i did the seams i put some 1" masking tape 3M blue for good stick-ability and easy peel along all the the seams. With this on either side of the applied sealant, i brushed the sealant down the seam with a Nylon brush the suitable size. Nylon brushes makes it much neater and easier to apply, without it ever clogging up like a paint brush does. The masking tape makes the edges nice and neat. The tape must be removed before the sealant sets, so as soon as you have finished.
For applying sealant all on the inner wings, use a larger Nylon brush which will keep it looking neater. I was advised by Innotec i can paint stonechip primer on top for extra seal and protection.
I prefer to apply the sealant without thinners on the brush as this is the sealants worse enemy when applying it. The brush does need it when its time to clean the brush thoroughly.
The sealant end cut off bit needs to be cut at the 45 degree angle.
