I recently put a second floor in my garage to create an office. I used pallet racking (fits perfectly and gets maximum head height) and 50mm chipboard Mezzanine flooring for the floor. I stack logs for winter in the lower part of this building. These will often sweat and residual moisture can accumulate on the underside of the mezzanine floor which wont be good for the chipboard. Whats the easiest and quickest thing to seal this with before i stack next years logs? I need to do it but dont want to spend hours doing it. I wondered about bitumen but is that overkill and will a diluted brush over with something like PVA do the job?

pva will do the job. is it just regular chipboard? air flow would also help

Garden spray would be really quick. All the web searches i found were people wanting to seal the floor surface they would walk on so were talking about floor paints. This doesnt need that.
Air flow would be good, i agree. I keep the garage doors open when i can and dont stack right to the top but it is limited airflow unless the wind is blowing in. I considered putting a bathroom fan in the back wall but not sure how much it would draw through. Last year the wood i stacked got rained on before/as i stacked it and that really didnt help but i was caught out by the amount of condensation - its why there is some black mould on the chipboard in the photo (that will wipe off before I seal it) so i just want to protect it and will make an effort to ensure the wood is drier on the outside when stacked this time!

I think the issue was massively exacerbated because I chopped and stacked late last year and whilst the wood was seasoned it got rained on and I wanted to get it out of the weather. I have a lot of dry ash this year and plan to chop and stack in summer.

Last years was larch but it'd been down since pre lock down in long log form. I cut and chopped in Sept which was too late and included some days of rain. Despite getting it under cover quickly some got wet.depends what it is as to how long to season , and how well it burns ,,, theres a wee rhyme to remember what does what , but I cant remember it
This year's is Ash which I felled over the course of last year (lot of dieback here). This is logged and just needs splitting and stacking. It's already dry.
