Sealey supermig140 for first welder?

Hello guys,

I need to buy a welder so I can finally get my Nissan 200sx sorted. I done abit of welding about 4yrs ago at collge and enjoyed it. But haven't done much since

i would go for it mate there good welders and easy to setup/use.

i have the 185 sealy super mig, had it for about 5 years and it never gives me any trouble......

Cheers mate. How many power and wire settings do they have? Can't tell from the picture.

Also will it go low enough for doing thin panels on my car?

Says down to 30 amps. Should eb good for body work.

Picture (click on enlarge picture) shows 4 power settings.

Four power settings, wire speed is controlled by an adjustable knob, one way to speed it up, the other to slow it down.
Click the small pic and as if by magic it becomes a big pic.

I thought it had 4 but I wasn't sure. Take it it goes

1 low
1 high
2 low
2 high?

Just want a rough idea on power/wire settings to start with.

Hopefully by next weekend I'll have some pics of my first welds

going to go for the co2/Argo gass aswell.
