Sealey/portamig/tec arc

I've researched,researched and researched and am convincing myself to spend the money on a portamig 215. I have looked at the tec arc 211 which looks like the same machine but cheaper. I will not be a heavy user of the mig so am trying to warrant the extra spend. Any views tec arc mig welders.

TecArc and portamig are near enough the same machine, portamigs starts @ 15amps whereas tecarc starts @20 amps. Do you need 15amps, I personally dont think so, + portamig have smoothing capacitors that won't do much at the lower end of the scale so I don't see the need for them either. £ for £ I would just buy the TecArc Machine especially if you are only going to be using it for thin work.
