Sealey LP40 space heater gas regulator

Just a quick one I have just acquired one but it has no regulator done a quick google but still no wiser to the pressure it works at anyone have any idea to the operating pressure I have a few calor gas regulators somewhere that I will dig out tomorrow but I think there from bbq's not sure if there the same pressure output thou

Standard regulators operate below 1 psi usually, two settings 37 or 50 mbar. My propane heater came with an non-adjustable one and works fine. You can get adjustable ones but they are not needed unless you are using a blow torch or similar equipment and you will probably just be using more gas than needed.

Cheers for that looks like I may have to buy one as I've found the ones in the shed and I'm guessing there no good as it says 1Bar

Just looked at my little fireball type and the regulator is a preset 1.5 bar so you should be able to use one of the adjustable ones or try the one you have there and see if it delivers enough gas. There is a safety on them so the worst that can happen is it goes out.

That's great I'll give it a go if it don't work then adjustable it is

My draper one uses a 1.5 bar reg as it needs a higher pressure (more gas) that other appliances.

Looks like 1 bar is way to much it's like a flame thrower at the min anyone got a idea of the kind of pressure these small units need looks like the adjustable ones go from .5 ----> 4 bar but just wondering if .5 is low enogh
