Sealey angle grinder

Anyone got one and are they any good.
Was at a agricultural show yesterday and one of the vendors was offering 100 1mm abrac slitting discs for around £100 with a free 115mm 750w angle grinder, I was after a small angle grinder anyway, so asked them to hold one till next week

you could get lucky with the grinder but only semi diy use.....
not a bad price for the disc's I think...they dont last so long anyway.....
I think I pay just less than a euro each........

I only got it to use with the slitting discs m8, I have 3 metobos for heavy grinding.

I don't but just doing the numbers, if a fat body Sealey AG, £100 all in including discs, that deal can be had cheaper, around £80.00, if one of their slim body AGs around £90.00 including discs all in.

I recently bought one. Seems fine to me, the only issue is that you cann't lock the switch on, it has to be held on to use it.

They are powerful but the carbon brushes don't last very long

Hikoki are good, renamed hitachi, I already have a 115 and 230mm

Abrac are a decent value disc but the do offer several different ranges.
The budget ones are about 50p each in quantity and no sealey 4.5" grinder is worth £50!
The abracs phoenix discs are the higher end, perform well and would probably make it a decent deal especially if you take the convince factor into account

Tbh I stopped using normal cutting discs 18 months ago, I normally use the dewalt diamond ones, they are a tenner each but last 30x longer than normal slitting discs
