Dead right took me a whole day and a lot of cussing for my Rayburn water pipes through some very thick walls guessing the angle to come out in the right place in old boiler house. From my experience of thin walls with loose rubble, that its going to jam a thousand times. Good luck.
I started to try that but it wasnt happening!!I think I’d be tempted to smack one big hole through, put some sleeves over the pipes and make good.
Trouble is I only had a vague idea where i was coming out. We had to drill a pilot of sorts to figure that out. As you can see i had seven goes!Rotary Kango type drills can be had in those sizes, the one I have takes drills and core drills, extensions are like a mt so you can keep adding extensions. My only concern would be the snatching, it would have been easier to have gone through in one with the correct size bit. Should be able to get one from a hire shop.

Thanks Gareth. Thats very kind. I Just wasnt sure i could maintain the course I need with the core drills.I've some core stuff + extensions here if you like to borrow. Have had to do similar through giant walls. Can be issues with fragments of stones falling behind the core. Will have to check there's a ~32mm bit intact but won't be zillions to get one if required. Needs a clutched drill to use really although smaller ones might be just be ok.
