hmmm...does not do anything for me I'm afraid, even putting my arty head on and I can't 'see' anything in it.
Was in Majorca recently and a lot of the roundabouts have some metal art work on them, some were excellent and other's were a bit like the above.
Still... if we all liked the same it would be a boring world I suppose.

the other on I saw was almost the same, the artistic blurb said it was supposed to represent summat about the movement of the river current and the local mountain. Cant see it meself.
Except that I did think it could be taken for seaweed waving about I suppose.
I usually look at metal sculptures from the fabrication point of view more than the artistic element but I appreciate that as well.
I think framing the sculpture like that detracts from it.

I think there are a lot of people about who pretend they have an artistic intelligence to understand anything thrown together and called art, luckily there are just as many people ready to sell them something to satisfy their desire to be different and 'with it'.

one of my ex lady friends used to call me a philistine because I said that pile of bricks thing sometime ago was a con. Now a wall or arch or barley twist chimney built by a good brickie is what I would call art (except its called craftsmanship I suppose).When you look up above street level in some victorian towns like Aldershot you see features that are better than most art to my eye.
To be fair that one in the picture looks a bit better in real life-but its still not my thing.
