screw type lid for dry sump tank?

hi all, i'm building a dry sump for the FSAE car at univeristy. everything else seems straight forward, the only thing i'm having trouble laying my hands on is a filler lid.

similar to the one on the top of that, just a threaded sectio with a cap really. any ideas?

Try Pace Products , they make dry sump systems amongst other things.

Looks like a Pace cap on the tank in the pic. Around £19 + VAT. Other usual suspects are Mocal, Speedflow and Pro Alloy, i usually stock the Mocal type as they have a longer neck making 'em more versatile (can be fitted to a curved section) than the others which have a short stepped neck.

Mocal type is around £17 + VAT (cheapest retail sources are Demon Tweeks suprisingly or Speedflow although they don't appear on Fays site) but would need triming for that application

Until recently they were one of the cheapest sources for mocal caps, virtually everything else then i agree. I usually use speedflow, their own caps are pricey but they do carry the mocal style

DT don't actually have anything in stock, they are just a front for other places.

similar to the way amazon operates.

i know this because i used to sell them all their VDO gauges .

Forgot about Think Automotive and the like, they definatly list the mocal necks/caps and i'm sure Rally Design sell some similar to the mocal type IIRC they're cheaper but the cap isn't as nicely made i.e. functional rather than functional and pretty
