Hi all. I have an approx. 90cfm screw compressor. It's controls were damaged in a fire and then fiddled with by the previous owner to get it going again temporarily. I bought it spares/repair because of the state of the controls, and the motor being burnt out (possibly due to bodged controls).
I have repaired the controls and motor, and it works great. However once in a blue moon it fails to restart when the pressure drops. Normally as luck would have it this coincides with the middle of a cut on the plasma table or something similarly annoying.
Anyway, I would like to replace the controls with something more modern and can't quite face more hours of tracing wires in the cabinet.
What is the industry standard screw compressor controller?
Can see lots of 'mam' branded ones on Ebay but they don't look that convincing. Compressor is fixed speed, no vfd. Just looking for the controller itself, not contactors. I could do it with a plc but hoping to save time by just getting something off the shelf.
Advice appreciated!
Thanks
Matt
