any one know a good forum for old vespas? and links for parts ect., planning on selling ma ped and building up a px frame ive just bought ,

ye but all i find is ones with the newer plastic pony vespas and all their exhaust problems and im looking more for one thats into restoring old ones and that

There's quite a few mate, depends on what you intend to do with the px. As mentioned the VCGB is ok, bit quiet but the right place if you're doing a standard resto. Most people into scoots like to tune the nuts off them, the previous link to madspeeds work will testify to that. Here's a few i frequent...
