My mate who is a psv mechanic and 7 years my junior has bought himself a rally car.

It’s a rather rusty rally car on the drivers side. But only the divers side.

After a lot of head scratching and prodding at the problem it now looks something like the. He confidently told me when I took on the job ah it just needs a quick patch on the drivers floor pan and a new outer sill.

He’s lucky I had decided before I started this that his payment to me would be to help do a suspension swap on my disco.

Nope as I think he bought it with his eyes shut but I decided I could do with the experience so no harm done.

Yeah it didn’t take long for me to start finding the terrible obviously bad welding that had gone before.

Thursday next week but I have managed to talk him round to the way of thinking it’s going to take a while.

I think you still might come out on top of this deal, if he's doing the suspension arms and bushes there's a few hours work in them with seized bolts in hard to access locations!

Fully polybused, adjustable drop links, adjustable it handled and accelerated good. it was my second one and had a really good engine in it, pulled well.

I'd of liked a set of throttle bodies on it and a quaiffe diff
