It's an app, I don't do apps. Your just giving companies to much access, they can read all your texts, emails and record your calls.

Just went to this again, I think you don't have to register to download the E book I thought it was just a PDF

It's not - it's a "Flash" application, so you may be being prompted to download Flash from adobe.

Slightly off-topic, it's good to be wary when looking at sites and apps on the internet but the reality is that the vast, vast majority of applications are perfectly safe to use. If they weren't then the entire IT industry, and all the businesses that depend on them, would go out of business.

The key is to look at the website and make a judgement on how trustworthy the company is. There is absolutely no way that a company like Sandvik is going to write an app that surreptitiously reads all your texts, emails and record your calls.
It's healthy to have a little cynicism when using the web, but it's also possible to be slightly too paranoid.

You have to admit there is something fishy about all these apps wanting to know the far end of a fart. It's not so long ago MS would have been dragged over molten larva for less, but everyone just lets them get on with it. Including me! Then I haven't anything on my phone I would be hesitant in showing to anyone.
