Hi everyone!
Long time no visit to this forum!
I've just bought my first house
which is a 1900's victorian terrace in Loughborough.
The property has an excellent basement, perfect for a workshop. The trouble is at the moment, the basement is extremely damp.
The brickwork is covered in a very thick paint. A damp and timber specialist has recommended blasting the paint off the walls!
Now I want to get some advice on which compressor/tank set up I'm going to want!
The compressor will be used for:
Blasting assorted car parts
Tyre inflation
Running air sanders, drills, impact drivers etc
NOT spray painting.
However it will be required to do a one off job of blasting a whole room.
Question is:
What size compressor will be required?
Can I get away with a smaller compressor + big upright tank? <(Desirable due to space implications)
Will car parts blasting equipment do the job for brick blasting?
Thanks in advanced!
Mike

the minimum size comp and blast jet size would be 90cfm and a pot with a min 6mm jet otherwise u would have to do it with a large power washer and a sand attachment very wet and messy
