There good gloves but a bit ott for grinding. You just want a good leather riggers type glove, or similar work glove. Take yourself to arco or somewhere similar, and look at whats available.
I had full leather welding gauntlets on when a grinder with cutting disk snagged and went across my left hand, hit the first finger, the gauntlets may well have not been there. As said, gloves are really for the sparks, hot things and sharp edges.
Face shield when grinding anything more then a very small task, cheaper to replace then a welding mask and clear ones mean easier to see, nothing wrong with wearing safety specs as well. as I got old, I have bought prescription safety glasses for when in the workshop., I need to wear them most of the time so always adds that little bit of protection.
Proban Boiler suit/Overalls what ever you call them. although i have a welding jackets I use when standing up. Leather work shoes, tie up type, rather then trainers when I remember.
