SAF Optipuls 350 amp - SETTINGS

Would you please able to explain to me how to set up this machine? I am able to get to Expert settings (EE). I am not able to set to Factory settings. None of "Plant settings" (I guess these should be default values) gets stored in Setup. What I see is every time I get through Set up menu I see same unaltered values (yet different from Factory values even after I try to reset them in Expert mode).
None of online available manuals helped me to understand how to properly change and save the values I wanted to alter.
Is it the machine does not store the values into any memory at all?

Is this the online manual for your machine...?
Don't know this brand, maybe it's badged differently in the UK and rest of world...(?)
I'm no additional help, just thinking someone else may recognise the machine...
I can't see a "save" option either...

If I proceed based on the manual what I do is:
1) Setup menu with selector to SETUP
2) Moving through parameters by Wire feed button on the back of Wire feeder unit
3) Changing the parameter values by pressing torch trigger button
4) Moving to next setup paramater

What I do not see is any "Save" or whatever would let me confirm the values selection.
Also I never have the LED between two upper displays light on. That one should indicate the unit is using the last selected adjustment.

Do you have to step through the menu items till you get to GO and END ( click trigger) to set any adjusted parameters, or should that set factory settings

Not stepping through all the menu items (trying to leave Setup menu by changing position of rotary switch to other then SETUP) does not let me to switch back to welding.
FAC (factory settings parameter mentioned on Page 21) only allows me to click trigger button. That is followed by GO and almost instantly systems displays END. This has no effect on any values at all.
My set values (irrespective to selected program) are not those mentioned in user manual. For example my PRG (pre-gas) are set to 0.0s. Plant setting should be 0.2s. I have post-gas POG 0.0s and plant setting should be 0.5s, my burn-back (post retratract) PR is 0.05s and plant setting should be 0.07s. I cannot reset these my values even by FAC sequence.

I cannot reset the values to factory settings in my system neither change them.
Leaving setup menu is not possible other way but stepping through all the menu items (wire feed button and/or trigger button sellection which has not impact on anything).
Changing other then SETUP on rotary switch / wire selector does not terminate the Setup.
The only 3 active buttons during setup are Wire feed (steps through menu items), Trigger (changes the item values) and 2T/4T rocker switch (changes trigger listing sequence of the next value to lower or higher).

As far as I have checked it seems all SAF / Oerlikon / Cemont units use the same logic for 280i, 350i, 380iw and 500i. I wonder if someone here on the forum has one of these machines and has ever experienced the same situation.

Thank you very much for your support. I seems I found the problem cause.
This is a production welder. So it has hardware lock to avoid settings changes by operators. It seems to be controlled by DIP switch number 4, ON = no changes allowed, OFF = changes through SETUP and EE menus allowed. Switch in position 3 works as described in manual. OFF = no access to Expert settings, ON = access granted.

This is just my assumption which works for me and made the unit working as suppossed.
