Sad end to a project

Due to impending huge changes at home, the van has had to go

Had I not run out of blades it would be in tiny pieces now

Onwards and upwards I suppose

Sucks to see a project end without a finish but you got the right attitude, crack on to the next one

Pick a smaller size project next time. This way if you don't finish it you can just chuck it in the bin Sad to see stuff unfinished, I sometimes have things years before they get completed but stuff that takes up so much space as a van has to get done quick or dumped

Sadly it's not my choice to not finish, but by next month I won't be living here, the new place doesn't have space for such a project and renting space is like another mortgage

I have made sure to claim a room to convert to a darkroom, should keep me busy

Thats what i like about motorcycle projects , they take up far less space than anything on four wheels worth having. I even stashed a bike project in a spare bedroom wardrobe once, frame on top, engine inside. Sorry to hear of your accomodation changes kayos.

It was an Astra G

The z18 and interior I was planning to fit are sold, along with some of the other nicer bits

Stripping has revealed some horrendous rot, more like a 60's British car, not a 10 year old van!

I've never had a bike, they have never appealed to me but I can see the value of a limited space project

The garden will be completely different Monday night, petrol mower and hedge trimmers being dropped off by my dad

Turbo long gone but I've a couple of ac rads, I know one is good as it was still pressurised when I removed it
