We are both in good health and each have a trade pipefitter/plumber/midwife,so when we return for the winters we can both do some agency work to supplement our time here.

Glad it raised a bit of a laugh,It wasn't till I read it that I realised the error,Well midwifery has some thing to do with female plumbing in a way.
Now the hunt is on for a campervan.

Look into the cross channel costs as well ,a mate told me for large vehicle/campers it can cost a fortune,he did have a 32ft van and a smart car on a trailer though

Yes we have made some enquires into the prices of the crossings and as you say it goes on the length of the vehicle,Don't think we will be looking at class A campers,A bit pricey 18ft seems to be quite a reasonable price,but we would like to tow a small trailer (if possible) with all my tools in it,but that's just an idea at the moment.
There is so much to choose from camper wise,looked at some in Maidstone today,Very nice and affordable.
