No, not what you have to buy the wife after splashing out on workshop kit, but a new acronym I heard on the James May programme on Hornby this week.

A plastic kit builder was showing the camera team the 15 boxes of boxes of kits he has accumulated but never built yet and he said it was "SABLE" and after seeing the number of adverts on this site and whilst I am still sorting out my workshop (a job I planned to complete over the Christmas break!) it seemed worthwhile sharing!

Irreversible? Thats not true i have recently cut up a very rusty old car that was outside taking up space under a cover and got rid of it, That said i do now have about 50 boxes of spares and an axle engine and gear box in my garage..

I suffer from this.

Well I don't suffer, Mrs TYA suffers. But it does help.

A few years ago I "recovered" one of the original boilers fitted to the estates houses. Useful to keep mine going.

Last year Matt down the road was selling his house. 8 days before the handing over of the keys his boiler failed. It looked like the sale would fall through.

I gave him the burner, from my spares and he got it fitted, saving the sale.

It helps.
