We've all seen the videos of crazy Russians driving full tilt, head on into each other but what happens to all those "written off" cars? Well, allow me to introduce Arthur Tussik.

Entertaining to watch, this particular wreck is hardly dinged compared to some of the other projects. It is both mesmerising to watch them unfold and terrifying to think these cars are back on the road!

Amazing skills but I have to wonder how strong those unfolded chassis members are.

It's a technique used in this country too, so there must be some confidence in the repair I'd have thought. A friend who owned a car repair business had a hydraulic straightening jig 20 years ago.

I seem to remember a 5th gear episode (I think) a few years back where they bought a Ford focus that had been repaired, and they crashed it head on into another identical Focus of the exact same model and age with test dummies inside, and basically the repaired car just crumpled up. I think the moral of the story was once a crumple zone has deformed once then it's served it's purpose and that's it.
