RTech 160PDC

Has anybody used or own the RTech 160PDC.
There is one on EBay just down the road from me. Just the box and basic torch, no earth lead, but that’s not a problem. No accessories or add ons. £300.
I will just be sticking bits of stainless together mainly cutlery, would this be OK? Worth the money or would I be better off waiting for another one to come along?

No, the one I was looking at is in Gloucester. It’s the analogue version.
The one you have shown looks a much better deal. I was only interested in the Gloucester machine because it was so close. I was also tempted by an RTech 161 which is AC/DC with loads of accessories, but that’s about £950.

The "better" one in Crook, County Durham - perhaps a local Forum member might collect it for you and then ship it to you ...?

Thanks for the replies on this.
I think I am still in the “Should I” camp. I reckon I have enough projects to keep me going for this year. As much as I would love a new toy to play with, I am sure it would pull me away from the stuff I need to get finished.
I will probably keep looking and possibly treat my self when I’ll have time to commit to it.
It’s also that because I have no knowledge of TIG, I have no terms of reference for the value of second hand stuff and the cost I need to add to a purchase to make a working setup.
