RS4 ice drifting "Experience"

Was walking along today and a girl dressed in a bright red Audi outfit stopped me and said "would you like to try out an RS4 on Ice", yep sign me up. Not sure what to expect but am now signed up for 11 tomorrow. Will take some pics and video.

Yes the RS is a very different beast. One of the boys working for me had one for a while but he broke it on ice! Good fun though! We had been drifting it around on our Industrial Estate but he got rather carried away and drove over a low wall - all the airbags went off!

Very true unless you have studded tyres.
Ice driving is a treat though - if you have plenty of room!

Yes the RS is a very different beast. One of the boys working for me had one for a while but he broke it on ice! Good fun though! We had been drifting it around on our Industrial Estate but he got rather carried away and drove over a low wall - all the airbags went off!

Oh the thing was an old wreck! And yes he was a bit of a knob - had more crashes than hot dinners! He didn't claim on the insurance - rich Daddy. He is actually a lot better now he has grown up a bit.

Total anticlimax. Went along today after having round till 11, they said the ice has melted so postponed till Saturday, not sure if I can be bothered now. See what the weather is like then.

There will be plenty of snow and ice in St Anton, some how Dunfermline does not have that Alpine winter sports ring to it.

Off topic we were in Austria just before Christmas, roads were hard packed with snow, one of the locals (I assume) drove past at 15MPH of so, spun the car 180 and headed off in the opposite direction, all in one fluid movement the car just appeared to change ends to point the other way. That was an old S6, impressive almost as impressive as the Teslar on snow tyres which accelerated on the snow like it had been fired from a catapult.

Oh so are you in St.Anton, it is years since we stayed there but we skied there from St.Christoph a couple of years ago and could not believe how much St. Anton had changed. Enjoy happy valley, our youngest did most of it on his backside when he was just under ten, he did not enjoy that.

Nice, sounds fun. Love Audis had quite a few before I became a serial Discovery owner. Best one was a new RS6 Avant, owned it for 9 months was awesome but not so good on the slippery stuff!

I was in St Anton in September - lovely place! Not much snow there then though!
